Bishop Museum - Find hand-woven Hawaiian feather capes, a 50-foot sperm whale, weapons and more. Visiting exhibits, a gift shop and planetarium make it fun for the family.

Founded in 1889, Bishop Museum continues its commmitment to gather and share knowledge of Hawaii and the Pacific with all of the world. Whether examining early Polynesian fishhooks or exploring dark lava tubes, the museum's world-renown research team is at the pulse of all worldly happenings-past and present.

Bishop Museum strives to educate and excite visitors and locals-young and old-through their exhibits, special events and programs.

The beautiful grounds are home to the largest collection of Hawaiian artifacts and exhibits, a planetarium with shows daily, hula shows, two gift shops and a restaurant. Open everyday from 9am-5pm. Admission.
